President, CEO

Anthony is a strategic, visionary entrepreneur who excels at team and production management. His portfolio includes several credits on Juno-nominated and WCMA-winning recordings and he has operated his own recording studios across Canada for nearly a decade. Recently entering the live production space, he worked his way from graveyard transport gigs to serving as Production Manager for large-scale events and running FOH Audio at Surrey, BC’s largest theatre, the Bell Performing Arts Centre, in less than a year.

Anthony’s strengths as a leader include his ability to recognize talent, quality, and opportunity. Having met and worked with each member separately, he assembled the core team of DSTNCE mere days after BC’s event industry shut down in March 2020. Originally from Winnipeg, MB, Anthony is a die-hard Winnipeg Jets fan.

Director, Finance

Will’s financial instinct is rare among artists and powers his independent career in Canadian jazz. Working as a recording artist, he controls a catalogue of over 200 of his own compositions. Will has also worked as a junior manager in non-profit arts and as an accounting clerk in the natural resources industry, and he co-founded the band EarlySpirit, launching it successfully onto folk festival main stages.

At DSTNCE, Will handles day-to-day bookkeeping, financial decisions, and artist compliance. Although he proudly hails from New Westminster, BC, Will is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Director, Culture & Communications

Victoria is a compelling storyteller, creator, and strategist. At DSTNCE, Victoria oversees internal communications as well as brand and culture development—she makes sure we’re all on the same page about our raison d’être. Originally from Saskatoon, SK, she’s a proud prairie export to New Westminster, BC.

Director, Marketing & Creative

Musician-turned-marketing-and-PR-specialist, Navreet Dhaliwal is known for her creative vision and drive. Instead of forcing herself to choose between music and business, Navreet has found unique ways to blend her talents by helping creatives understand the monetary value of their craft.

Navreet joined the DSTNCE team with the goal of addressing a rapidly changing entertainment industry. She deeply believes in artists’ ability to showcase their talents and make a living doing so. She’s excited that DSTNCE will provide this opportunity to so many performers. Navreet currently spearheads marketing and creative strategy at DSTNCE and lives by the mantra “business as unusual” to remind herself that great opportunities are often born through crisis.
